Fitness Covid Guidelines

Fitness Covid19 Guidelines

Please read the following carefully in order to ensure the smooth running of the club and keep us all safe. Please observe social distancing at all times in all areas of the building. Your name and contact number will be taken. • Enter via our normal reception door. Please arrive already changed for class as changing rooms will be locked.

• Bring your own drink and sanitizer please, although sanitizer will be provided. Please wear a face covering when entering and leaving the building.

• If the bathroom is needed please disinfect surfaces after use with the wipes provided. Please note… NO paper towels and/or wipes to be placed in the toilet. Use bin provided.

• The maximum number on classes is 20. Please keep 2m apart instead of 3. There will be a one-way system, so if you need the bathroom during the class, please use the exit door at the bottom of the building and walk around the outside.

• All doors and windows will be open to ensure sufficient ventilation and fans will be operational.

• Please check your own health prior to attending classes. Do not attend if you have a cough or cold or any other Covid19 symptoms. Also, maintain strict personal hygiene measures at all times. • We are not allowed to play music at a high volume, which encourages shouting and we must discourage anyone from singing and whooping!

• If you require hand weights please bring your own.

• Please just turn up for class. There is no need to book. After the class exit the building via the side door at the bottom to take you to the car park.

Aikido Return May 18th

Returning to Aikido

Enter the club by the normal reception entrance where your temperature will be taken.

Please do not attend if showing any symptoms or have a cough/cold.

You will be required to provide contact details for test and trace and to fill in an “opt in” form.

Spectators are not allowed to wait in the reception area. The entrance door will be locked during practice.

Sanitizer will be provided to be used before and after the session.

There will be a one way system so you will exit the dojo from the exit door at the bottom.

Please bring your own weapons which can be sanitized after use.

The timetable is obviously restricted at the moment and sadly we can only welcome students of 16+ years.

The date we are starting is Tuesday May 18th Class at 8pm-9.15pm

Thursday 8pm-9.15pm Sunday 11am-12noon

The classes will be weapons practice as we are not allowed contact at the moment.

A Saturday junior class will be starting in June. I will confirm nearer the time.

Merry Christmas!

It has been a tough year for most and all we can do is hope that 2021 is kinder to us all.

Thank you to all the instructors, big thanks to Lisa, Natalie and Julia for the online classes and thankyou to you all for supporting them.

We will obviously keep you informed of any changes and look forward to when we can all get together again.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Christmas and a much better 2021

Club Lockdown

Due to the news of the second lockdown beginning on Thursday 5th, the club will sadly close again after the class on Wednesday 4th November. Thank you to you all for your support during these difficult times. We hope as everyone does that we can open again from Wednesday December 2nd. Take care everyone.

Fitness Booking Form

COVID Compliance Notice Update

We’ve received further guidance from our exercise and governing body which states in order to remain COVID compliant we should ask you to wear a face mask when entering and leaving the club. You can remove the mask when you are settled in your 3m square.

Please also remember to social distance when entering and leaving the premises and avoid mingling in groups inside and outside before and after classes.

We hope you understand that it is important that we all follow the guidelines so that we are allowed to remain open!

Classes for w/c Monday 28th September will be available to book from tomorrow (Thursday 17th) between 3.30 and 4pm onwards. There will be 2 weeks of classes available.

Aikido is back!
